All bulbs are supplied flowering sized (FS) and shipped during their dormant period.

Your bulbs are ready for planting, they will be clearly labelled and packed in 8% moisture vermiculite (to prevent desiccation) in small zip-seal polythene bags.

My aim is to dispatch all orders within five days of receipt although this may not be possible in the period immediately after a new list goes live (in early July) and I appreciate your patience.

Orders are sent out in strict rotation, in strong custom-made ‘double-skin’ corrugated cardboard boxes, well cushioned inside with tissue paper to prevent movement.

All parcels are sent by Royal Mail using a trackable option. Within the United Kingdom this means First Class ‘signed for’ and for addresses in the European Union by ‘International tacked and signed’.

Bulbs supplied from early Autumn onward that have begun forming new roots are packaged appropriately in damp compost or damp tissue. Plant immediately upon receipt and water-in well to bring the new roots into contact with the soil.

Protection against slugs in damp periods when shoots are above ground is advisable.

If you would like me to hold your order for sending after a specified date if you will be away let me know (there is space on the checkout page to add a note).

  • Unless otherwise stated prices are for single bulbs (I do not detach side-bulbs).

  • Payment is required with order by credit/debit card (not American Express) or Paypal.

  • There is NO CHARGE for postage and packing BUT…

  • The minimum order is;

    • for customers in the UK £20.00

    • in the EU is £40.00.

  • I can only send orders to customers in the United Kingdom and European Union.

  • Pricing, payment and shipping options listed on the website are the only options available for the items offered.

  • Don’t ask me to falsify the value or description contents of packages on customs forms, I will not do it!

  • When the bulbs are sent I will send you a confirmation email.

  • Proof of posting is always kept.

And if things go wrong…If your package does not arrive please contact me as soon as possible. And if it arrives with a problem email me as soon as possible - I take my bulbs seriously! In the event of damage in the mail please retain the entire package and take photos.
