Galanthus 'The Ace' (dormant)
Galanthus 'The Ace' (dormant)
My own NOVEMBER FLOWERING hybrid inverse poculiform raised from crossing frozen pollen of an autumnal G. reginae-olgae onto G. plicatus ‘Trimmer’. ‘The Ace’ as might be expected shows very short foliage at flowering that greatly lengthens in the main season to show a conspicuous median stripe on very broad foliage with narrowly explicative margins. There are typically two scapes, the taller reaching as much as 25 cm. This is a SUPERB and vigorous addition to the ipocs.
