Galanthus x valentinei 'Rodmarton Arcturus' (dormant)
Without the embellishments of markings or changes in flower shape for which new snowdrops are usually prized, Rodmarton Arturus۪ is one of the ten cultivars which I would take with me if sent to live on a desert island. Its quite simply that good. Large textured flowers of excellent substance with a diffuse deep green inner marking that almost reaches the base are held about glaucous pleated foliage. A seedling selected in his garden at Rodmarton Manor, Gloucestershire by Simon Biddulph.
