The first colour-change hybrid of G. nivalis and G. rizehensis. This chance seedling from the garden of Joerg Lebsa shows green, widely splayed foliage, TWO SCAPES on mature bulbs with with large flowers (cream-coloured at first) with a green ovary and bright yellow apical inner segments marking. Like the G. rizehensis parent, it too 'spits' adventitious bulbs that at first look like seedlings around the a parent but are clonal and speed the process of achieving a decent clump.
