Erythronium 'Pacific Sunshine' (dormant)

Erythronium 'Pacific Sunshine' (dormant)
£35.00
One of still remarkably few named hybrids of E. hendersonii. Like that parent is inclined to, flowering earlier than most, here at the end of March. Leaves well-developed at flowering time, veined and mottled between the veins. Flowers large, usually two per stem; segments pale pinkish violet especially towards the tips and a lovely deep black-currant compound disc in the centre. Introduced along with another E. hendersonii hybrid - 'Pacific Skies' - by Gary Dunlop of Ballyrogan Nursery.
