Galanthus nivalis 'Hans Meier' (dormant)
Galanthus nivalis 'Hans Meier' (dormant)
A delightful and diminutive selection of Belgian G. nivalis ‘Scharlockii’ with the classic ‘long-eared’ spathe enhanced by a long pedicel from which hang chubby poculiform flowers, all six segments with pronounced green apical markings. Earlier in to flower than most of its type, this is a selection by the well-known German collector, Rudi Bauer who I have to thank for this little gem.
